Whether do-it-yourselfer or contractor, the individual arises multiple interrogations: What is the profile of individuals who carry out works? What are their motivations? How can we segment households, according to their features, their goals, the type of works they conduct themselves or contract out?

The study (see documentation) is based on a methodology combining qualitative investigation and a consequent field research (2 000 interviews) that enables to draw a detailed profile of individuals (type of works carried out, buying behaviour regarding building products, expectations with respect to the building-DIY sector).
